Västerås — Rönnby mountain biking trail (MTB Red)

The 3.7 km long Rönnby mountain biking trail (MTB Red) in Västerås. Many mountain bikers combine the Rönnby trails with those in the neighbouring Rocklunda area to get a little bit longer ride. The Rönnby MTB Red trail has parts with some technically challenging elements but it’s all bikeable with no drops. Quite simply, it’s a fun challenge. There are some smaller roots you can use to practice techniques and also potential mud holes when the weather is wet, but most trouble spots have alternative routes if you want to avoid the worst of it. The trails in Rönnby are actively maintained by the Västerås Cykelklubb (Västerås Cycling Club) and chances are high that you will meet club members on the trail.

Right next to the trail is the Rocklunda sports complex, which buzzes with activity due to its numerous indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
